Our story
Since our creation in 2016, we have strived to produce differently. We offer road cycling clothing for men AND women, favoring short supply chains.
All of our products are made from recycled materials, from 30% to 100%.
Who are we ?
The team
We are Flore and Geoffrey, founders of Matchy. As cycling enthusiasts and eager for new adventures, we are committed to sharing these passions through Matchy.
2016
Year of our creation, Our project is to create an eco-responsible cycling clothing brand. We have since been striving to rethink how we design, produce, ship and recycle our products.
2020
This was a year of maturation for Matchy, marking the expansion of our range with the creation of the Origins and Essential lines, which complement the Pure range. Matchy continued to grow in 2020, integrating a significant number of accessories.
The goal is to offer recycled products for all cyclists.
2022
This is a pivotal year for Matchy, with new milestones achieved. Indeed, Matchy is innovating with its Altitude range (formerly premium), which is 100% French-made and eco-responsible.
Matchy is also embarking on the creation of a Clubhouse for everyone to meet and discover the products.
2025
Launch of the Ultra range with the jersey. We said to each other "Give us free rein, what would our ideal ultra-distance jersey look like?" It would combine 3 products in 1: safety harness + hydration pack + jersey.

The ULTRA jersey is the first to incorporate a back pocket compatible with a 2L water bladder. ventral and lateral pouches strategically positioned, as well as a large fixed back pocket. A total of 4 times more storage than a classic jersey, without any compromise on aerodynamics or comfort. Each carrying area has been designed for endurance, practicality and fluidity of movement.

LAB
Elegance at your fingertips
The "Made in France" range, crafted with materials from the Ardèche region, features a tailored fit and a woven fabric that provides both durability and optimal comfort. LAB clothing represents the pinnacle of short supply chains, with production taking place within a maximum of 150km.
Altitude
Performance in the service of excellence
Our Altitude range, recognizable by its double A logo, is produced in France using 100% recycled Italian materials. This range features a tailored fit with optimal support in the sleeves. Products are Oeko-Tex, Bluesign, and GRS certified.
Essential
A unisex range
The Essential range features a 30% recycled Italian fabric. Unisex, the jerseys have a straight cut suitable for all types of cyclists. The bib shorts come in bold colours.
These products are Oeko-Tex, Bluesign and GRS certified.
Origins
Unconventional designs
Our Origins range is made from 60% recycled materials. Origins is distinguished by its original designs for men and women.
These products are Oeko-Tex, Bluesign and GRS certified.

Reduce
How reduce our impact, our waste, our CO2 emissions? Today No plastic is shipped in your For orders, all products are wrapped in 100% recyclable tissue paper. Also, The envelopes containing your orders are 100% recyclable and 100% compostable.. Since 2022, if you are in Annecy, you can benefit from Click and collect And collect your order within the Matchy Clubhouse.
Recycle
We use recycled materials since 2016. Today we have 5 ranges: Ultra, LAB, Altitude, Essential, and Origins. Each of these ranges offers different materials, details, cuts and finishes. Many of our products are made from 100% recycled materials; to date our baselayers, our winter jackets and our cargo thighs men who are also at 100% eco-sourced. In 2021 we integrated eco-friendly chamois leathers across all our cycling shorts.
Reuse
How to have a circular approach? How can we give our products a second life? Firstly, the quality of the fabrics used and maintenance of these prolong their lifetime. Also, our collections Pure and Essential want to timeless in order to do not give in to the fast fashion trend well represented in major fashion retailers. Furthermore, we are working with our manufacturers and a partner in the Arve Valley to implement a "crash policy" to repair your jerseys and bib shorts following a fall or accident (where possible, of course).
SCS
The SCS recycled content certification assesses products made from pre-consumer or post-consumer materials diverted from the waste stream.
Repreve
REPREVE® is a high-performance recycled fiber from a trusted brand, used to manufacture durable textiles with wicking, odor control, water resistance, etc.
Greensoul
100% recycled, 100% performance. The technology M.I.T.I. Green Soul combines the use of 100% sustainable recycled fibers with the most environmentally friendly dyeing and finishing processes without compromising fabric performance.
Bluesign
Bluesign is a system that provides safer and more sustainable environments for people to work in and for everyone.
Oeko-Tex
A quality label comprising several technical standards, aimed at certifying the health and ecological qualities of textiles and leathers, guaranteeing the absence of toxic products.
GRS
GRS is an international, voluntary standard that establishes criteria for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and restrictions on chemical composition.
