User information is used solely by MATCHY and will not be sold, exchanged, or rented to third parties. This system ensures that all data exchanged between the web server and browsers remains private and intact.

Matchy collects personal data from users on the website and during checkouts at the Matchy Cyclist Clubhouse in Annecy.

  • User account information: entered during account creation via the registration form (first name, last name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, mobile phone number, password for customer account login).
  • Browsing data: collected during browsing on the site and social networks, including the date, time of connection/browsing, browser type, browser language, IP address, location and geolocation data.
  • Interactions with customer service.
  • Transaction information: data provided during purchases, including order and return details such as telephone number, address, email address, and payment information.
  • Personal data added by the user in their customer account.

Payment information (bank card number, expiry date, authorization number, security code) is collected directly by our service providers. Shopify Payments and Paypal.

The platforms where we distribute editorial and promotional content (such as Meta, Strava, and LinkedIn) may also use automated methods to collect user data. This data is managed by these third-party providers and is subject to their respective policies. Matchy is in no way responsible for the practices of these third parties.

The purposes of collecting personal data include:

  • Processing customer orders (shipping, returns, exchanges, refunds).
  • Order data is transmitted to our banking provider for payment validation.
  • Sending marketing communications if the customer has subscribed to the Newsletter.

In accordance with the GDPR, the customer may exercise their rights of access, rectification, and objection to their personal data. They may request a copy of their information, correct their data, or request the complete deletion of their account and data.

We promise never to share or sell the information provided on our site.
